So this is my first time blogging and I hope you don't hate it too much ;)
I'm Courtney, I'm a freshman here at Hardin-Simmons, and I am majoring in Biology. I am from a little town right outside of Fort Worth called Aledo, which some of y'all may know because our football team but that's beside the point ;)

Alright so some things about me... well I really love to sleep which if you know me I'm always napping and in my bed...lol. I love vines. yes, I know the app is dead and long gone, but that doesn't stop me. I think I probably relate just about everything to a vine and could rattle you off about 20 in under a minute :) ( if you see three girls running around quoting vines thats probably my two best friends and me) I also just love sitting around binge-watching Grey's Anatomy, I mean who doesn't right?

Okay well I am a Biology major and that definitely arises the common question of why, so for quite awhile I knew in the back of my head I wanted to do something within the medical field, but it wasn't until my sophomore year of high school when I officially had decided that I wanted to major in biology. I had gotten injured from playing softball and had to have a number of surgeries. After about two of them, I realized that I wanted to be able to help people get back to their life and since I had a passion for biology, I knew biology was the route to go. I still haven't decided exactly what I want to do with my degree but I plan on going to med school after my four years here at HSU to become either a heart or brain surgeon.
So a little about my personality....oh man. Most of y'all will quickly learn that I'm not afraid to speak my mind and talk constantly. (that loud girl in the back of the classroom, yeah thats me) I love to be around people - most of the time...lol
Anyways, that's basically me in a nutshell, hope y'all enjoyed ;)

Court! You're too adorable! I loved reading about you boo. To incorporate how you want to become a surgeon is astonishing, and I did not know you were born in Florida! Keep doing you!
ReplyDeleteHey Courtney! I love your upbeat personality and the fact that you quote vines because that's basically what me and my friends do too! That's a really awesome reason for wanting to be a surgeon, I want to be a nurse because I have a lot of surgeries growing up. I know how it feels to move a lot, I didn't move to states like that but I did move around Texas a lot so I feel you. I hope we can continue to get to know each other this semester because you seem like a super cool person!
